Where Big Betty vanished, an owlbear died, and a skeleton raised more questions than it answered.

Greenleaves Woods lay about two hours' travel from Newhaven. The party ventured here in Session 2 to search for Big Betty, a woman reported missing by her husband Tomlin Bobb.

The search turned up an Owlbear — dealt with via a fist to the skull — and a skeleton bearing Betty's belongings. The trail suggested she had escaped, but the party couldn't pick up her tracks beyond that point.

Betty was never found. Tomlin was very sad. The 124 gp reward went uncollected.
