Session 9: The Great Newhaven Bake Off
The Mill Investigation
The quest for bread-related answers led the party north to Bill Miller at the mill. Bill supplied flour to all of Newhaven and some of New Green. According to Bill, the new bakers in town weren't great โ the wife was "not a good baker but doing ok." The flour itself checked out fine.
Tom Tiller, the courier, arrived to collect flour that evening. Eimador accompanied him, watching the cart while Graham and Tom handled business inside.
The Bapsworths
The trail led to Mikey and Mary Bapsworth โ the new bakers at the centre of the bread mystery. The party confronted them, and the quest was resolved peacefully. Mary Bapsworth was described in the field notes as a "MILF โ Mother I'd Like to Friend," which the chronicle records without comment.
Great Papa's War Hammer
A war hammer of significance was acquired. The details of its provenance are described only as "Great Papa's war hammer," accompanied by an expression of joy.
The Manor
The session took a turn when the party visited a manor staffed by:
| Name | Role |
|---|---|
| Gregory Thornbridge | Head of Staff |
| Ellen | Maid |
A clattering of sticks and crunching of wood echoed through the halls โ and apparently, a voice accompanied the sounds. Ellen had a letter she needed delivered to Maester Corvus, who could be reached through the adventurers' guild. Garth Eaglehook, the branch leader of the guild, would know more.
